Understanding the Form component

1. Overview

Adding a form to your campaign enables you to collect valuable user data that can in turn be used to convert customers and gain loyalty. Forms can be used to collect a range of data including Name, Phone Number, Email, or Date of Birth.


2. Adding a form

By selecting the Forms icon on the left hand side, you can insert a form with a Name, Phone Number, Email, or Date of Birth field. In addition, you can also insert an "Opt-in message" to get users' consent.


3. Form Properties

You can click into the form's corresponding layer to view the different properties associated with the given field on the right hand side.

Name Properties:

  • Position & size – Select the dimensions and placement of the field.

  • Name format – Select if the name input will be stored as a first name, last name or full name.

  • Label text – Input the label you'd like on the field box.

  • Placeholder text – Input the hint text you'd like in the field box before the user begins typing.

  • Requirement toggle – Select if this is a required field for your users to fill in.

Phone Number Properties:

  • Position & size – Select the dimensions and placement of the field.

  • Default country code – Select the default country code that will be presented in the field.

  • Label text – Input the label you'd like on the field box.

  • Placeholder text – Input the hint text you'd like in the field box before the user begins typing.

  • Validation error message – Input the error message you want presented if the user's input does not meet the requirements.

Email Properties:

  • Position & size – Select the dimensions and placement of the field.

  • Label text – Input the label you'd like on the field box.

  • Placeholder text – Input the hint text you'd like in the field box before the user begins typing.

  • Validation error message – Input the error message you want presented if the user's input does not meet the requirements.

  • Requirement toggle – Select if this is a required field for your users to fill in.

Date of Birth Properties:

  • Position & size – Select the dimensions and placement of the field.

  • Label text – Input the label you'd like on the field box.

  • Requirement toggle – Select if this is a required field for your users to fill in.

Opt-in Message Properties:

  • Position & size – Select the dimensions and placement of the field.

  • Checkbox dimensions – Input the dimensions of the checkbox.

  • Requirement toggle – Select if this is a required field for your users to fill in.


4. Different states of the form

Select between the different states of the form to see a preview of the form in that given state (unfilled, filled, validation error, required error)
