Summary

This article covers the following topics about in-line rich text:

1. Overview

The rich text component gives you full flexibility over the styling of the text for your campaign's copy.

See below how to style and edit text using the Campaign Builder Beta.

2. Text styling

The text editor allows you to change text hierarchy, fonts (browser provided and custom), sizes, styles (bold, underlined, italicised) and colors.

Double-click a text box to open the text editor:

Set text hierarchy by choosing between:

  • Heading <h2>: designed so the experience is read as a sub-section of the webpage it appears onto. Automatically set to be the experience's aria-label*.

  • Subheading <h3>: use it for sub-sections of your experience's content, such as value points or survey questions.

  • Body <p>: used to define and structure paragraphs of text.

ℹ️ The aria-label describes a web page element so that it can be identified by screen readers. By default, it will be automatically extracted from a text box marked as a ‘heading’.

The in-line text editor allows you to style text by choosing from a selection of browser provided fonts and custom fonts that can be uploaded on the Account Settings section. Use the search bar to search for a particular font.

Use the color picker to select a color from within the creative:

3. Alignment tools

The alignment tools allow you to control the positioning of text within a text box.

Text spacing tools allow you to control the spacing between letters, lines or paragraphs.

4. Hyperlinks

While a Call to Action is a strategic element aimed at motivating the user to perform a specific action, hyperlinks are primarily used for navigation and linking to content outside of the campaign. They are used primarily for links to another document or resource, such as a Terms and Conditions page.

By default, the hyperlink will always open on a new tab in the current browser.

5. Fill and border properties

It is possible to change color, border and corner radius of a text box on the Fill and border section of the Text properties panel.
