Yieldify provides onsite and email marketing that predicts and reacts to customer behaviour, serving content that is tailored to the unique interests of customers to drive conversions.

To provide this Service Yieldify collects certain categories of data from our clients’ customers that may include email addresses and information about certain activities that the customer has undertaken on a client site.

Information that we collect via our services

When a customer visits a website operated by a Yieldify client, Yieldify is permitted by the client to collect the URLs (website addresses) of the pages of the client’s website that the customer visits and may collect information on the customer activities on the website, such as the pages viewed and products that have been added into a basket.

Upon the request of the client, we may collect the customer IP address, information about the customer’s device, browser software and any operating system.

We may also collect customer email addresses if a customer enters this information on our client’s website to buy a product or service, becomes a registered customer or signs up for marketing communications. We will only collect the email address of a customer on the instruction of our client, the website owner, with any subsequent processing of this data specifically for the purposes of the website owner as the data controller.

Any customers that wish to obtain more information about the data collected by Yieldify via a specific website should review the privacy policy of the specific website and/or contact the website owner directly with any questions relating to the provision of notice and obtaining appropriate consents.

Our use of cookies

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser, and which may then be sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server.
